Water Chestnut Pull

Keeping the invasive Water Chestnut under control is an ongoing task! The city’s Lakes and Ponds program is sponsoring a hand pull to remove plants in the northern end of Coes on Saturday, July 11 from 9:00 am until noon. Working from kayaks or canoes, volunteers can help pull the plants from the water before they produce seeds for the season. 🚣 A limited number of kayaks or canoe spots are available to those who register first. Meet at Binienda Beach (Coes Pond Beach), 200 Mill St., Worcester, MA. Register here.
