Worcester Cyanobacteria Monitoring Collaborative 2022 Data Review – December 8

Cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) is a growing concern for Worcester’s lakes and ponds. Worcester sponsors a citizen-science initiative to monitor for harmful algal blooms. TBWA participates in this effort, collecting and analyzing samples from Cooks Pond, Patch Reservoir and Coes Reservoir. On Thursday, December 8 the city will present WCMC data collected this year. Come learn and celebrate with our awesome volunteers from Worcester and surrounding communities. Refreshments will be served!
