WCMC update

We are coming to the end of our sampling season. This has been a challenging year, with a number of incidents of high levels of cyanobacteria requiring treatment and closures. We want to thank City of Worcester Lakes and Ponds Program – Jacquelyn Burmeister and Nick Pagos – for all their attention to this issue.

2022 Celebration and Data Presentation for the WCMC (Worcester Cyanobacteria Monitoring Collaborative) will be held on December 8 at 6:15, Levi Lincoln Room, Worcester City Hall. This is a great opportunity to hear about all the great work done by the City and citizen volunteers this year to monitor cyanobacteria in Worcester and neighboring communities.
