The Worcester Cyanobacteria Monitoring Collaborative initiated the 2022 season on May 2. Volunteers will be sampling Lakes and Ponds across the city and in other communities in Central Mass. Members of TBWA will be monitoring Coes Reservoir, Patch Reservoir and Cooks Pond to assist the city. The data from this effort helps local understanding of cyanobacteria and contributes to global research on the topic as well.
